Eduarda had the incredible opportunity to mediate part of the OSCAwards ceremony at SPUI25 last January. During the event, she received an award for her master’s thesis work, which won in the ‘Open Educational Resources’ category. Her tutorial project, available online here on GitHub, has gained significant attention and recognition. It was invited to be published as a paper in Brain Structure and Function and was even shortlisted for the prestigious Brain Structure and Function Best Paper award. Additionally, Eduarda presented her work on various occasions in France and the Netherlands, including FENS and the Amsterdam Neuroscience Meeting. These achievements underscore the importance of providing incentives and support for the Open Science community. Eduarda thanks the Open Science Community Amsterdam for organising this impactful event.

Fernando, Linda, our fearless OS leader Eduarda, and Giulia were present to receive the prize.
