Where lake views meet science

With the academic year coming to a close, we took a well-deserved moment to celebrate together in the sunshine. With a well-stocked picnic basket full of homemade goodies and the sun on our faces, we gathered by the beautiful shores of De Nieuwe Meer to reflect, relax, and reconnect.

It was a chance to look back on everything we have achieved together this year – from tight deadlines and data collection to insightful papers and engaging presentations. We especially thank the interns that brought their ideas and energy to the lab this year: Beatriz, Luca, Maud, Noa and Veerle. More than anything, it was a moment to thank one another for the collaboration, support, and good humor that carried us through it all.
