Maxine wins an award at EANO!

Maxine had the honor of receiving an Investigator Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science of the Nurses & Allied Healthcare Professionals with an interest in Neuro-Oncology at EANO in Rome!

Her study, “Assessing the multidimensionality of symptoms in patients with diffuse glioma using symptom networks,” explores how different symptoms experienced by people with diffuse glioma may be interconnected.

We are very happy to see Maxine’s work recognized with this scholarship, supporting her in sharing her research and connecting with the wider neuro-oncology community.

This work was a true team effort, with colleagues from Cancer Center Amsterdam, Universiteit van Amsterdam, Leiden University Medical Center and made possible by the EORTC – European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer. The team consists of: Jantine Röttgering, Mona Zimmermann, Jaap Reijneveld, Johan Koekkoek, Roger Stupp, Martin van den Bent, Brigitta Baumert, Wolfgang Wick, Michael Weller, Thierry Gorlia, Martin Klein, Tessa Blanken & Linda Douw.
