As of September 1st, we are a separate research section within the department of Anatomy and Neurosciences! Multiscale Network Neuroscience or MULTINET aims to integrate theoretical insights and empirical findings across different scales of measurement of the brain, ranging from microscopic investigation of individual cells and circuits to whole-brain imaging and behavioral assessments, in order to understand and ultimately better treat brain diseases like brain tumors.
As we embark on this exciting journey, we’ve also explanded the team quite considerably over the past two months, with (in alphabetical order) Bernardo Maciel, Floris Tijhuis, Marloes Bet, Minne Schepers, Mona Zimmermann and Vasco Rauh. You can find some more info on what they’re doing on the people page!
