“Invisible Loss” @ Beautiful distress

“The Beautiful Distress Foundation uses art to increase understanding and compassion for people dealing with mental vulnerabilities. Art appeals to our senses and reason, can make us look at things in a different way and can make us aware of our own prejudices.”

We went to their current exposition on “Onzichtbaar Verlies”, which is about epilepsy. There were many different types of art pieces, truly magnificently depicting what is may feel like and mean to have epilepsy or be around people with epilepsy. Such a special lab outing!
